Intro

Dimensional analysis is a powerful tool used in physics and engineering to understand the relationships between different physical quantities. It involves analysing the dimensions of physical quantities to derive equations, check the consistency of equations, and convert units. By examining the fundamental dimensions (such as length, mass, time, etc.) of various quantities, we can gain insights into the underlying principles governing physical phenomena.

This lesson will cover the basics of dimensional analysis, including the fundamental dimensions, dimensional formulae, and how to apply dimensional analysis to solve problems. We will also explore some worked examples to illustrate the concepts and techniques involved.
